ARE PLANNING!
Boy did we do lots of looking. For outfits and for what we wanted for the church and hall. The hall was easy we picked the inclosed stone building at wild cat park. I fit are theme very well. And the price was great!! Sloan picked the church and we had many nice visits with paster Terry. We made banners and made wedding flowers for are bridesmaids. I made dry flower arangments for the guest tables. Dollor stores and walmarts are great places to find stuff!! It's seams funny but its true. I ordered my dress thougth the internet (first time I had ever done that) And my dress is so great I love it. Sloan's Kilt came scottland to a store in washington state to us. Boy that was expensive but he has his famliy tartan now. It was worth it. We bought the other tartan that are best man wear at a threft store.
I got my flower halo at a renassance fair the year before. It was made with dry flowers and ribbon. I made my girls there baskets of roses and there flower halos for them. I became very crafty in the year before are wedding. And injoyed it very much!
We even made a pinta for the kids that looked like a knight. It was a big hit with the kids full of candy and toys. We also did thank you bags for 4 lucky guest that we and the wedding party picked names. It was a very nice idea that everyone liked.

Wedding story.

Are day went better then we thought it would. We had such a hard few days before the wedding we were worried that things would not come out well. Are bad luck started at the first of the week with me loseing a bridesmaid. She was ill and could not make it. We found a person to take her place Sloans sister was so great and worked out great. Then one of are groomsman grandfather past away and he could not make it and it was to late to find someone to take his place. So Tammy had to walk down by herself. Then we got a flat tire on the way home from the store. We were so stressed out.
Day before the wedding was a busy day for us. Sloan and my mom went out to pick up some extra stuff and I packed are cars. So when they came back we headed to the hall to get it ready. We worked on the hall till it was time to go to the church. We had a vister before we left a black bear came walking around. We got the doors shut fast. Then a police officer drove by and asked if we were all ok. Ok but scared. So my dad stayed at the hall and we all left for the church for rehersal. Rehersal dinner was nothing fancy the wedding party and us went back to the hall to finish decerating. We had pizza and pop.
I went home and got everything ready for the next morning. Tammy came and picked me up the wedding morning and we headed to the mall to get are makeup done. We meet Linda there. We grabed coffee and a sandwich. Then it was off to the church. My parents and the girls were there getting there hair done. Then I had my hair done. A hair dresser a friend of the family came and did all are hair's for the wedding as a gift. What a sweetie. Then I went and got dressed. Before we know it it was time to walk down.The music was all taped music that we did from cd's of Celtic music. We all walked down to hymn to the sea from the movie titanic. Yes even the men walked down. It was so nice it worked great.
Pictures went great. It went fast and that was good becouse we wanted to get to are guest's. We had camra's on the tables for people to take pictures. As you can tell we got lots of great pictures.
Are day was very sunny and warm. Things went very smoothly.
UPDATE:June 24,2001
We just had are first year together. We spent it at home and had a cook out with family. We ate are year old cake top. The cake part was still good but the frosting was hard and gross=0P We had a very nice day! You can see a gift from a fellow Maiden friend from Maidens of Renaissance made for us on whats up area of the site. Thank you all For your nice wishes.

We just came back form are vaction to Lancaster PA! We went to a celtic fair and hope to have some pictures up soon for you to see. We had lots of fun and got sun burnt really bad but i'll live. Hope you come back to see the pictures.

We have made plans to spend are vaction at are honeymoon resort. We can't wait to go back and we will take lots of pictures.:0)

We spend a lovely time at the Summit resort were we had spent are honeymoon at in the summer of 2000. We meet many nice couples that we now stay intouch with. But the sad news is we have herd that are fun loving resort closed its doors in Sept and we are not shore if the owner is going to reopen or not:0(
So we are very glad we went over the summer.

UPDATE===Aug 16,2006 Well we have been Married 6 years this year. I had my friend Ellie from Washington state come stay with us for a week. So she was here during are wedding annv.
